Accessibility Statement

Last updated: May 11, 2026

InsuranceCostCity is committed to making our site usable for as many people as possible, including people who rely on assistive technologies. This statement describes the steps we take, what we know is not yet ideal, and how to tell us about a problem.

Our Approach

We design with the goal of being readable, navigable, and operable for visitors using screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, and other assistive tools. In particular we try to:

• Use semantic HTML for structure (headings, lists, landmarks)
• Ensure clear color contrast for text
• Provide text alternatives where applicable
• Make interactive controls keyboard-reachable
• Avoid hiding important information behind hover-only interactions
• Allow page content to reflow on smaller screens

Known Limitations

We do not claim full conformance with any specific accessibility standard such as WCAG 2.1 AA or the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and we have not commissioned a formal third-party accessibility audit. Some areas of the site may have limitations:

• Complex interactive calculators may not be optimally announced by every screen reader
• Data tables on long pages may be challenging to navigate with assistive technology
• Embedded third-party content (such as newsletter signup forms or external links) is subject to the accessibility of those third parties
• Charts, sliders, and toggles may have varying levels of accessibility support

We continue to address these issues over time.

Tell Us About a Barrier

If you encounter content or a feature that is difficult or impossible to use, please tell us. Email accessibility@insurancecostcity.com and include:

• The URL of the page where you experienced the problem
• A description of what you were trying to do
• The assistive technology or browser you were using, if relevant

We will reply to acknowledge your report and let you know what we are doing about it.

Alternative Ways to Get the Information

If a specific page is not working for you and you need the information it contains — for example, a specific state cost figure or a calculator estimate — please email us and we will work to provide that information in an alternative form.
