This policy covers paid subscriptions to the InsuranceCostCity Pro embeddable widget. Use of the free widget is governed by our Widget Terms and does not require a subscription.
The Pro widget tier is a recurring monthly subscription that provides additional features beyond the free tier — including white-label customization, removal of attribution, and other items described on the Widgets page. Pricing is shown on that page at the time of signup.
You can cancel your Pro subscription at any time. To cancel, email widgets@insurancecostcity.com from the email address associated with the subscription, or use the cancellation method provided by our payment processor if one is available to you.
When you cancel:
• Your subscription will not renew at the next billing cycle
• You can continue using the Pro features until the end of the current paid period
• After the paid period ends, your widget will revert to the free tier and attribution will be required as described in the Widget Terms
• If you embed multiple Pro widget instances, all of them will revert at the same time
We do not advertise a blanket refund guarantee. Refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. To request a refund, email widgets@insurancecostcity.com and include:
• The email address used at signup
• The approximate signup date
• The reason for the refund request
Common scenarios we will look at:
• Duplicate charges or billing errors
• A subscription started in error and not used in the billing period
• A material feature described at signup that did not work as described and that we were unable to fix in a reasonable timeframe
Refunds, when granted, are issued back to the original payment method. Refund processing time depends on the payment processor and is typically a few business days.
If you have a billing concern, please contact us first so we can resolve it directly. Initiating a chargeback through your card issuer before reaching out can complicate refund processing and may result in suspension of the related account while the chargeback is reviewed.
Pro features remain active through the end of the billing period that has already been paid. Once the period ends, the widget reverts to free-tier behavior, including required attribution. Any widget instances tied to the canceled account continue to function in free-tier form unless you remove them from your site.
We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change. Changes do not retroactively alter charges that were already processed under a prior version of this policy.
